The FatMac near his skinny brother.

The FatMAC from em3ev has finally arrived in the US. We received our first one today. It looks to be a little over a pound heavier than the standard mac. The spacing is insane on this motor. It will easily fit a 205mm dropout with a few washers. The rotor mount is pretty far in from the dropout and on some installs you will need to install a rotor spacer and possibly space the caliper out towards the tire as well.

We will be installing this on a Mongoose Dolomite to have a showdown between the 12T mac and the BBS02. Stay tuned for more posts and general mayhem.

The Drive side can easily accept a 10 Speed Freewheel with room to spare.
